Prisoner of War Camps
Bomber Command air crew that were shot down or who bailed out of their aircraft and that were taken prisoner by the German Luftwaffe, were interred in POW camps until such time as they were liberated by Allied Forces. 625 Squadron had a total of 54 air crew that were interred in such camps.
