Memorial Services

625 Squadron Memorial Service and Luncheon

Each year, a memorial service is held at the 625 Squadron Memorial located adjacent to the Kelstern Station followed by a luncheon.  The service is normally conducted by a local priest with the Louth Air Cadets in attendance as a colour guard.  Attendees are welcome to place flowers and/or flags at the memorial site.  Visitors are encouraged to sign the digital Memorial Guest Book by scanning the QR code that is displayed on the information plague attached to the memorial railing.

Lancaster LL956 CF-Q (Queenie)

A service is also conducted each year to remember the air crew members of Lancaster LL956 CF-Q (Queenie) who were lost near the Kelstern Station on October 14, 1944.  For more information about the memorial Service, please click here.
