Overview and History
625 Squadron Memorial is maintained by the 625 Squadron Association which is a volunteer group of family members and interested individuals that meet periodically to remember the Squadron and the sacrifices of the personnel that served in the Squadron. The Memorial site is the location of the annual 625 Squadron Memorial Service. In the past, a reunion has been held for the Squadron that included members that served, their family members, clergy and the Louth Air Cadets. A dinner was normally held in conjunction with the memorial service. The first reunion was held in London in 1954. In recent years. the dinner has been replaced by a luncheon which is held on the same day as the memorial service. The luncheon is usually held at the Brackenborough Arms Hotel in Louth. 625 Squadron Memorial is located adjacent to the Kelstern Station.
